Time War in Copperopolis: A Steampunk Adventure

Airship Pirates vs Sea Pirates!

Due to a bizarre temporal anomaly the mighty air-sea port of Swansea is going to be plagued by 17th century buccaneers, sailors from Nelson’s navy, Killer Koi Carp, a rogue Kipper smokehouse, giant seadogs and other strange forces on Sunday June 21st 1909. There may even be an Air Kraken.

It seems likely that one of the mighty machines in the National Waterfront Museum is malfunctioning and creating an Aetheric-Temporal vortex in Swansea Bay. Only the Silurian Guild of Adventures with its trained chrononauts and expert engineers can resolve this mystery.
Meet at 12 noon at the front of the National Waterfront Museum [which as part of the horrific effects of the vortex been transformed from its usual neo-gothic facade into a hideous steel and glass box.] It is a 5-10 minute walk from Swansea Rail Station and there are parking spaces nearby. As always appropriate clothing for steampunk adventures is a sensible precaution.

This mission will involve an exploration round the National Waterfront Musuem, and Swansea’s Marina to encounter whatever weird things may be occurring. Possibly a seaside picnic to follow if the weather is fine or a visit to a public hostelry.

A full listing of the unlikely happenings plaguing Swansea on this date can be found at the following Aethernet address:

There is even a competition for best pirate costume. Surely the sartorial elegance of Airship Privateers must win out over the crude costumes of mere pirates of the Ocean wave?
